Duration of the Course 2 years
Qualification Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Production Engg., Manufacturing Engg. / Automobile Engg. from any University of Karnataka, with minimum 50% (45 % for SC/ST and category -1) of the aggregate marks in all the years of the degree examination.  
Students from universities outside Karnataka need to obtain Eligibility Certificate from Visveswaraya Technical University before seeking admission

Admission Through Common Entrance Test conducted by Visveswaraya Technical University
